A Farm To Table Feast: An Easter Extravaganza
Easter has always been one of my most cherished holidays, & this year will go down as one of the most memorable. After church, we had a farm-to-table brunch in my parents' backyard with my favorite home-cooked meal, a Bloody Mary bar, & more belly laughs than I can count.
A Southern Soirée
This backyard holds so many memories- it’s been in my family for almost a century, with gardens that my grandparents and now parents spend hours tending & loving on. My mom grew up in this house, my parents had their wedding reception here (as did Will & I), and now to the present day, we watched the 4th generation cousins hunt Easter Eggs, just like the generations before them.
My two girl cousins, who are like sisters to me, came to Monroe with their husbands and family, which made this holiday all the more special. As little girls, we meandered through the 'Secret Garden' playing hide-and-seek, "House," and every other imaginative game little kids play. This yard holds so many fond moments, and I'm forever grateful that my little girl has the opportunity to experience a slice of my upbringing.
Custom Place Cards & Menus
When my mom started planning the Easter extravaganza, I knew I had to create a custom menu & place cards to elevate the tablescape. She adorned the table with her Rose Medallion chinoiserie collection, which served as the color scheme for the linens and paper products. With it being the height of spring, I wanted to bring out pops of orange and coral into the artwork.
